"You Are Mine" -- To Lift Our Spirits Up

At this time when the world is messed up, when the forces of evil have been aggressively trying to squelch the good and succeeding, when there is more bad news than good in many spheres of life -- religious, economic, political, etc., we who believe in a Loving God naturally turn to Him for consolation and strength.
There is meaning to our lives. And God is part and parcel of it. In fact, He is the meaning of our lives.
In the quiet of our homes where many are forced quarantined, in the almost empty church where we used to pray and worship with our family and faith community, while we walk or drive to where we absolutely need to, the Lord is with us, trying to catch our attention and assure us that we belong to Him.
He tells this to us in our hearts. He speaks this to us, also in songs composed by those He has inspired to do so.
"You Are Mine"
We know. We trust. We are grateful.
We are Yours, Lord! #
"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name: you are mine. When you pass through waters, I will be with you; through rivers, you shall not be swept away. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, nor will flames consume you. For I, the LORD, am your God." (Isaiah 43:1,3)
