The Way, The Truth and The Life

Writing about Jesus, and lifting my heart in prayer before His image that has been with me for the past 50 years, the Cursillo Christ. (I took the Cursillo in 1967.) At the end of the day, in the quiet of the night . . .

In the midst of all the turmoils and divisions and disbelief in this world, there is only one Person we can turn to. Only He has the fullness of truth we can believe in with confidence. Only He can show us the way to where our hearts long for us to go. Only He can give us life, the life of eternal peace and happiness. It is not surprising, for He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life.

"Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we believe and have come to know that you are the holy one of God." John 6:67

"Lord, now you let your servant go in peace; your word has been fulfilled:

my own eyes have seen the salvation which you have prepared in the sight of every people:

a light to reveal you to the nations and the glory of your people Israel.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: — as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.
